Exclusive hybrid
Polylux shutters
A real wood frame paired with moisture-resistant louvers and a furniture-grade finish. Our in-house design for homeowners who want the look of wood and the durability of poly.
Designed in-house, built in-house
Polylux isn't a stocked product. It's a system our team developed to solve a common problem: how do you build a shutter that handles humidity and daily use, without giving up the structure, finish, and feel of real wood? The answer is a solid wood frame, moisture-resistant louvers, and the finish quality of fine cabinetry. Every Polylux shutter is designed and built at our Lake Forest factory.
Why polylux shutters
Real wood frame
Structural strength and long-term stability. Holds tight tolerances, sharp corners, and a true rectangle over years.
Moisture-resistant louvers
Handles humidity, splashes, and steam. Wipes clean. Same louvers across every room, so no two-tone match.
Furniture-grade finish
30-sheen satin coating reflects light like fine cabinetry. Smooth to the touch, not flat or chalky.
Custom color matching
Match your cabinetry, trim, or specialty paint exactly. Polylux is finished in our spray booth, not stocked.
Precision joinery
Mitered corners, mortised hinges, rabbeted panels: details that close light gaps and feel right under your hand.
Easy to clean
The satin finish wipes down with a damp cloth. No special products, no streaks, no buildup in the louvers.
Built for every window
Whatever the shape, we measure and build to fit. A few of our most-requested styles.

Polylux vs traditional poly
Most poly shutters on the market are fully synthetic and pre-configured. Polylux pairs a real wood frame with moisture-resistant louvers, built and finished like fine cabinetry. The difference shows up everywhere: corners, hinges, finish, fit.
