What to expect
From measurement to walkthrough
Phase 01
Before install day
- Free in-home consultation. A Golden West designer measures every opening, including arches, bays, and off-square frames up to 48 inches wide.
- Written estimate with every line itemized. No flat-rate averages.
- Your panels are milled and finished at our Lake Forest factory. Most projects ship in 3 to 5 weeks.
Phase 02
Install day
- Our crew arrives on schedule with floor and wall protection in place.
- Each panel is hung to your measured opening. Tension and alignment are adjusted on-spot.
- Most few-room projects wrap in 2 to 4 hours. Whole-home installs typically finish in a single day.
Phase 03
Walkthrough & aftercare
- Full walkthrough with you before the crew leaves. Every panel opens, closes, and seats flush.
- Any minor touch-ups are completed on-site.
- If anything comes up later, you call us directly and reach the same team that built your shutters.
