Corona & Lake Forest

Built in Lake Forest, installed in Corona

Corona is in western Riverside County, just over the OC line on the 91. The drive from our Lake Forest factory is about 30 miles, but the trip can run 35 to 60 minutes depending on the 91 east-west traffic. Corona homes span several distinct areas: Sierra Del Oro on the OC border with consistent newer-build tract floor plans; South Corona and Eagle Glen with the master-planned hillside communities; Corona Hills with mid-grade tract stock; and the older El Cerrito and downtown sections.

For most Corona interior rooms, real basswood plantation in white with a 3.5-inch louver is the most-asked-for combination. For homes with strong west-facing afternoon sun on the Cleveland National Forest side, our Polylux hybrid handles the heat and UV better than basswood over the long term.

The Eagle Glen and South Corona hillside homes often have two-story foyers and the kind of large window scale that benefits from our 48-inch panel maximum and 4.5-inch louver. The older El Cerrito tract houses were built with wood frames that have moved with decades of inland Southern California seasonal swings, so we mill panels to the actual opening.

The 91 traffic adds variability to the schedule. We typically aim for early-morning starts on Corona installs to beat the worst of the rush. Most full-home projects ship and install in three to five weeks.

Common questions

Why early-morning starts for Corona installs?

The 91 freeway between Orange County and the Inland Empire can run 15 to 30 minutes longer eastbound in afternoon rush. Early starts let our crew avoid the worst of it.

How far is your factory from Corona?

About 30 miles on the 91, but travel time runs 35 to 60 minutes depending on traffic. We plan accordingly.
