Riverside & Lake Forest

Built in Lake Forest, installed in Riverside

Riverside is the largest city in the Inland Empire, about 40 miles from our Lake Forest factory on the 91. Travel time runs 45 to 60 minutes depending on the 91 traffic eastbound. Riverside homes span an unusually broad range: the historic Wood Streets neighborhood downtown with its Craftsman and Mission-revival cottages; Victoria with its early-1900s estates; Canyon Crest with newer master-planned floor plans; Mission Grove, Orangecrest, and La Sierra with mixed tract stock; and the Mount Rubidoux-adjacent hillside homes.

For the historic Wood Streets and Victoria homes, the work is custom mill from the start. Original frames have moved with a century or more of seasonal humidity, and the trim profiles don't match catalog shapes. We mill panels to the actual opening and the actual trim, in real basswood, with the louver size matched to the original architectural scale.

The newer Canyon Crest, Orangecrest, and Mission Grove tracts get standard plantation work in basswood, white, 3.5-inch louver, with Polylux substituted for any west-facing rooms with strong afternoon sun.

The long drive means we schedule Riverside installs as full-day jobs and aim for early-morning starts to beat the 91 rush. Most full-home projects ship and install in three to five weeks. The crew that builds the panels installs them.
