Costa Mesa & Lake Forest
Costa Mesa runs the full architectural spread: the 1950s ranch houses on the Eastside, the 1970s Mesa Verde plans with their unusual angled fronts, the South Coast Metro mid-rise condos near the arts plaza, and the newer Westside infill homes that all seem to share the same oversized rear sliders. Every one of those styles asks a different question of a shutter.
The Eastside ranches almost always have wood frames that have moved slightly over seventy years; we mill panels to the actual measurement, not the nominal opening. Mesa Verde's bays and corner windows take more time to design than the install itself takes to complete. The South Coast Metro condos lean toward our white plantation in basswood or Polylux for the high-light corner units. The Westside builds with their floor-to-ceiling sliders are where our 48-inch panel width earns its keep.
Costa Mesa is 20 minutes from the Lake Forest factory on the 55. Once a measurement is in, most full-home jobs ship and install in three to five weeks. We bring samples and material swatches to the in-home consultation so you can see how each material reads in your light, not on a showroom floor.

Yes, those are the openings our mill was designed for. We cut every angle to your specific bay geometry, place hinges so adjacent panels open without colliding, and dial in louver alignment on-site.
Our Catalina white plantation in basswood is the most common choice: 3.5-inch louver, smooth finish, standard detail frame. For high-floor units with intense afternoon sun, we'll sometimes recommend Polylux instead of wood; it won't yellow.
A Golden West designer comes to your Costa Mesa home with samples, measures every opening, and provides a written estimate. No charge, no obligation.
