Garden Grove & Lake Forest

Built in Lake Forest, installed in Garden Grove

Garden Grove is 20 miles from our Lake Forest factory, about 23 to 24 minutes on the 22. The GG homes we install in are mostly 1950s and 1960s tract floor plans built when the city was developing on the Westminster border. West Garden Grove has more consistent newer-build stock; downtown Garden Grove and the older Magnolia corridor have a mix of original Craftsman bungalows and post-war tract houses with wood frames that have moved over decades.

For most Garden Grove homes, real basswood plantation in white with a 3.5-inch louver is the most-asked-for combination. The kitchens and family rooms often have original aluminum or vinyl sliders that benefit from our 48-inch panel maximum. The bedrooms and bathrooms get smaller, simpler openings that respond well to standard plantation work.

The historic Craftsman homes in the downtown corridor need custom mill work. Original wood frames have moved with seasonal humidity, so panels must be milled to the actual opening, not the nominal opening. We have a frame library that includes the most common trim shapes in this part of Garden Grove.

The drive from our Lake Forest factory is short enough that same-week consultation and install scheduling is the default. Once material is ready, panels go from the finish booth to your house in a single morning. The crew that builds the panels installs them.
