Custom plantation shutters in Tustin

Tustin is two different shutter conversations in one zip code. Old Town Tustin, with its historic district along El Camino Real and the bungalows that still have original 1920s and 1930s frames, asks for traditional plantation shutters with a frame profile that matches existing trim. The wood frames in these homes have moved over a century of seasonal humidity, so panels need to be milled to the actual opening, not the nominal opening.

Tustin Ranch and Columbus Square are the opposite. Newer-build floor plans, master-planned communities, large consistent openings, and the same basswood plantation shutter in white that suits the Irvine Ranch homes a few miles south.
