Scripps Ranch & Lake Forest

Built in Lake Forest, installed in Scripps Ranch

Scripps Ranch is the master-planned community in north central San Diego County, about an hour down the 5 and the 15 from our Lake Forest factory. Scripps Ranch homes are organized into distinct sub-neighborhoods: Stonebridge, Scripps Highlands, Scripps Vista, and the older Estates section. The community sits adjacent to Mission Trails Regional Park, with hillside homes that have strong afternoon sun and views toward Miramar.

For most Scripps Ranch interior rooms, real basswood plantation in white with a 3.5-inch louver is the most-asked-for combination. The newer Stonebridge and Scripps Highlands floor plans have consistent openings and standard trim. The older Estates section has the larger custom-built homes with two-story foyers and bay windows that benefit from our 48-inch panel maximum and 4.5-inch louver.

For west-facing rooms with strong afternoon sun on the hillside lots, our Polylux hybrid is the right call. Even with our ten-step finish, real wood eventually shows wear in a room that gets six hours of direct western sun every day, and Scripps Ranch hillsides see exactly that.

The long drive means we schedule Scripps Ranch installs as full-day jobs. Once measured, most full-home projects ship and install in three to five weeks. We try to bundle nearby SD County addresses when possible to keep the trip productive.

Common questions

How long is the drive from your factory to Scripps Ranch?

About an hour on the 5 and the 15. We schedule Scripps Ranch installs as full-day jobs.

Why Polylux for west-facing Scripps Ranch hillside rooms?

Strong afternoon sun loads the wood frame with heat and UV that even the best finish eventually shows wear from. Polylux has a UV-stable composite shell that holds up indefinitely.
