Vista & Lake Forest

Built in Lake Forest, installed in Vista

Vista is in north San Diego County, between Oceanside and Escondido, about 60 miles down the 5 and the 78 from our Lake Forest factory. Vista homes span a wide range: the master-planned Shadowridge tract on the south side with its consistent floor plans and modest hills; Hidden Valley with the larger custom-built estates; Sunset Hills and the hillside neighborhoods with strong east-west sun; and the older downtown Vista cottages and bungalows.

For most Vista interior rooms, real basswood plantation in white with a 3.5-inch louver is the most-asked-for combination. Shadowridge floor plans are consistent enough that we recognize most of them before the measurement visit. Hidden Valley calls for a 4.5-inch louver and our 48-inch panel maximum to suit the larger custom-home scale.

For the hillside Sunset Hills homes and any Vista house with strong west-facing afternoon sun, our Polylux hybrid handles the heat and UV without yellowing. The older downtown Vista cottages with original wood frames need custom-milled panels in real basswood for the interior rooms.

The long drive means we schedule Vista installs as full-day jobs. Once measured, most full-home projects ship and install in three to five weeks. We try to bundle measurement and install visits across nearby SD County addresses when possible.
